Prior to establishing Third Millennium Research, Inc., Trent W. Moore was Research Scientist at the Hobby Center for the Study of Texas at Rice University, where he provided statistical, demographic, and technical assistance to facilitate independent and other ongoing research, as well as developed and validated new research protocols. Dr. Moore also previously worked as a Scientific Data Analyst at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) where he served as lead statistician and quantitative consultant for the evaluation of agency-funded programs and randomized trials. He has published in various academic journals on a range of topics, including Chinese demography, HIV prevention, and youth tobacco prevention. As an independent consultant, he served as co-Principal Investigator in evaluations of municipal solid waste recycling program participation. Dr. Moore earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Florida State University, where his emphasis was demography and population health. He also holds a M.S. in Demography from Florida State University, as well as M.A. and B.A. degrees in Sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington. |
